Ultrasound body composition
At SwimmersClinic, we use advanced ultrasound to accurately assess muscle, fat, and body structure—helping you train smarter, recover faster, and track your progress with precision.
Precision insights beneath the surface.
At Swimmers Clinic, we use ultrasound technology to go beyond surface-level measurements. Our body composition protocol provides a detailed, non-invasive assessment of muscle mass, fat distribution, and overall body structure — helping you train smarter, recover better, and understand exactly how your body is responding to your program.
Whether you’re an elite swimmer, multi-sport athlete, or simply focused on your health and performance, this test delivers real-time data with clinical precision — without radiation, discomfort, or guesswork.
What is it?
Ultrasound body composition analysis uses high-frequency sound waves to create live, high-resolution images of muscle tissue and subcutaneous fat layers. A handheld device called a transducer is placed on specific anatomical sites (e.g. quadriceps, biceps, abdomen), emitting pulses that are reflected from internal tissues. These reflections are processed into visual data, allowing us to measure fat layer thickness, muscle size, and cross-sectional area with remarkable accuracy.
